The goal of the implementation is to provide a generic independent from specific runtime profiler to trace API and asynchronous activity.The ROCTracer API provides functionality for registering the runtime API callbacks and asynchronous activity records pool support.

Limitations

The ROCtracer API library doesn't provide implementation for the ACTIVITY_DOMAIN_HSA_OPS operations HSA_OP_ID_DISPATCH, HSA_OP_ID_BARRIER, and HSA_OP_ID_RESERVED1.
