Detailed Description

BLAS Level 1 API.

The scal functions scales each element of vector x with scalar alpha.

x := alpha * x
  • Supported precisions in rocBLAS : s, d, c, z, cs, and zd.
  • Supported precisions in cuBLAS : s, d, c, z, cs, and zd.
Parameters
[in]handle- [hipblasHandle_t] handle to the hipBLAS library context queue.
[in]n- [int] the number of elements in x.
[in]alpha- device pointer or host pointer for the scalar alpha.
[in,out]x- device pointer storing vector x.
[in]incx- [int] specifies the increment for the elements of x.
