Detailed Description

Get the module handle backing a library.

Returns the hipModule_t that library was loaded into, so a library can be consumed by the module-based APIs

Parameters

[out]	pMod	Pointer to receive the module handle.
[in]	library	Input hip library handle to retrieve module from.

Returns

hipSuccess, hipErrorInvalidValue, hipErrorInvalidResourceHandle, hipErrorNotFound

Note

The returned module is owned by library and stays valid until hipLibraryUnload(). Do not release it with hipModuleUnload(), which returns hipErrorNotPermitted for such a handle.
