Quick start installation guide#

This topic provides basic installation instructions for ROCm on Linux using your distribution’s native package manager. Review your required installation instructions by selecting your operating system and version, and then run the provided commands in your terminal.

For more in-depth installation instructions, refer to ROCm installation overview.

Note

If you’re using a Radeon GPU with graphical applications, refer to the Radeon installation instructions.

Before installing ROCm on RHEL, register your Enterprise Linux.

Note

RHEL 9.4 is supported only on AMD Instinct MI300A.

Before installing ROCm on RHEL, register your Enterprise Linux.

Before installing ROCm on SLES, register your Enterprise Linux.

To apply all settings, reboot your system.
